Protect battery Feature Query

Is it safe to turn on the Protect battery feature of my Flip 4 permanently? I'm avoiding overcharging my phone so ever since my purchase date, I have already turned it on and not once reached pass 85% of battery charge. Or should I charge my phone up to 100% once in awhile? Thank you in advance.

Yeah, it will prolong battery life. There are no such thing as overcharging anymore, as our phones automatically stops charging when it reaches fully battery. 😊

I turn off Protect Battery feature if I'm going out for the whole day, then turning it on if I'm home for the whole day
