S24 ULTRA GRAINY DISPLAY & BANDING ISSUE

So I got my S24 Ultra yesterday and after switching my display to dark mode, I noticed my display became grainy, especially if the screen is on grey color and the white colors on letters banding everytime I scroll up and down. No pixel uniformity and this is a serious hardware issue and this cannot be fix by a software update according to a display engineer. I saw a lot of users have this issue. I decided to return my phone and get a replacement.

Don't have 2nd phone to record it but if you have s24 ultra you can try switching to dark mode and go to facebook or any app with grey colour tone and lower your brightness to 20-30%. If you see grains and colour banding get a replacement if not then your phone is good.

I got my s24ultra just yesterday. Im already on dark mode since initial setup and haven't encountered this issue.

That's one of the issue. I'm talking about the grains in the screen you can actually see it if your screen is on gray/grey colour tone

Those grains on display is like a glitch after using circle to search.

The grains on the screen while doing circle to search is just an animation.

I know, I just mentioned it cause the grains on display especially if you're on dark gray colour tone are like those animations from cirlce to search

If you have a Samsung device that has an AMOLED screen compare it to your device, and you'd see the difference.
It's a known issue but not everyone has this issue.

I read it's also worse in faded or dull colors, the screen would look like the textured of jeans.

Im not sure if this is because of anti reflective properties of the glass used. On my note8 before, I used a matte privacy screen protector which also anti reflective, the effect is this grainy display but not this kind of blurry.

It's not. Ones with s24 and s24+ that doesn't have any anti reflective screen also have grains.

Oh. Maybe it all can be fixed by this upcoming update in Feb22
