    <description>I am a bit disappointed that a corrupted memory file will suggest to replace the entire board itself. I was hoping for a more cost-effective approach like reflashing or reinstalling OS if it is really the case. Thanks for the help anyway.</description>

      <description>Thanks. Just brought it this morning and they suggested to replace motherboard without even looking into the phone which costs close to brand new.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi lianaliam,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To give a bit of context: motherboards are printed PCBs that have components soldered to them - you could think of components as "hardwired" to the motherboard - making it difficult, if not completely impossible, to repair individual parts when they break. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Boot loops may indicate NAND Flash / eEMC error, essentially corrupting your phone's internal memory. It's likely why the service center suggested to replace the motherboard.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As for data recovery - unfortunately, if you haven't backed up your device to your Samsung Account or Google Drive, you may lose some essential files.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
