    <description>&lt;SPAN&gt;My S21 Ultra got the Oct 1, 2024 security patch yesterday. Then the phone occasionally froze and restart a few times and the power button suddenly stops working.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;The power button is in great condition. I only use it when doing screenshots and turning off the phone because I have the One Handed Operation app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any ways to fix this?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;UPDATE:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My phone's battery got drained. I got scared because its power button is not working. I quickly charged the phone and tried to turn it on. To my surprise the power button suddenly works again. The phone turned on and the power button is now working normally. This proves that the 10-01-2024 security patch have some issues.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It sounds frustrating that your power button isn't working properly after the update. It's great that you've already tried resetting the settings. To further troubleshoot, I suggest running diagnostics through the &lt;STRONG&gt;Samsung Members&lt;/STRONG&gt; app to check for any issues with the hardware or software.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Open the &lt;STRONG&gt;Samsung Members&lt;/STRONG&gt; app &amp;gt; Tap &lt;STRONG&gt;Support&lt;/STRONG&gt; tab &amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;Select &lt;STRONG&gt;Diagnostics&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>I already did the diagnostics. While testing the power button, the phone froze and restarted after repeated short and long presses.</description>
