topic Reminder App in Support

Hi,

I am a new Samsung/android user and I'm still figuring out things on my Flip 7. One of the apps that I always depend on is the Samsung Reminder app. However I just noticed that I WOULD ALWAYS lose 1 or 2 reminders from the app. And I don't know why.

For example, I have added a reminder for my grocery list (this happened again today). I added more or less 10 items and marked/completed them. When I went to the reminder app again, the list is still there, but this time I only saw 5 items (the first 5 on my list) and are all unchecked, it's as if I have just written them down. Please note that this happened more than 5 times already. My reminder app is synced to the Samsung cloud and I don't understand why I would lose any of my notes. Can you pls share if you arealso experiencing the same issue? Or maybe recommend a better reminder app where all my notes will be secured? Thank you all and keep safe!

Have you tried checking if the reminder that you listed is a recurring one?

I did not set any time/date actually. I used the "list" function of the Reminder app - to be specific I created a grocery list, and then saved it.
When I checked again (I'm about to do my grocery shopping at this time), the list is no longer complete.

You can try these:

Check your samsung cloud if it is syncing properly. Turn on and off the sync function.

See if your software/app is updated to the latest version.

Try to clear your Reminders cache. Settings - Apps - Reminders - Storage - Clear cache (lower right button that looks like a brush).

Hope something works!

I tried all these steps already when I first encountered the issue, unfortunately these did not work 😓

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app - still did not work.

Appreciate the response!

Too bad 😞 maybe it's a bug. I hope they include the fix on the next update.
