Apologies, Djm78. 🙏 I meant the menu button at the top right corner. But if you still don't have that, you can also try removing apps from the Deep Sleep list, as Red0902 mentioned.

I think you need to remove those apps from Deep Sleep list. I noticed apps that is put to deep sleep is marked disabled but you can still use them normally, but Play Store won't auto update them cause its marked as disabled.

Hi, Djm78!

Red0902 is right. You might need to remove those apps from the Deep Sleep list if you toggled on "Put unused apps to sleep." Moreover, you can also check if the Auto Disable Unused Apps feature is enabled. You can disable it through Settings > Device Care > Battery > tap the 3-dot menu and select the Settings option > toggle Auto Disable Unused Apps off.

And there is still no menu and no option for this.

Does Samsung Support even know their own devices? I have essential apps being disabled by policies I never agreed to, on your very expensive phones.

Maybe this has changed in the last 18 months; I'm on an S21 with latest updates in 2024.

How do I prevent Samsung from deciding yourselves what apps I do and do not want enabled?

it is android that is doing this, not Samsung. There is no option to switch it off universally.
