UNKS8000 vertical lines problem

I think my tv just died last night. From my research this is a common problem that plagued this model for years and a ton of other people had experienced the same problem as me with their own KS8000! My tv lasted 3 years and then boom! For no reason, vertical lines appears and started flickering! I bought this tv 3 years ago and it cost me $2000 cnd. At that price tag I was hoping it to last a little longer!!! I’am lost of words how disappointed I am about Samsung and their “quality” product!

Any help would be much appreciate. Thank you!

try shutting it down and turning it back on if that doesn't work maybe you should just buy a new one

Already done that, but nothing has changed. Vertical lines still persist even with the “one connects box” disconnected from the tv. Thx for the response though

try this buddy. knock on the back of the TV when it's on. if the lines disappear you have a lose cable inside the tv. this happens some times due to all the heat a tv makes

I can’t have access to the control panel cause I’am stuck with the vertical line screen no matter what. I can hear the sound, though (speakers still work at least)

When my ps4 was plugged I could hear the menu sound coming out of the tv’s speakers.

I'm guessing your t-con board is faulty. you can take it apart grab the number off of the board an order a new one for probably around 50-150 $

can you get any picture or sound from your tv it could even just come up for a second and then go away?

it's a smaller board that controls signals coming in an out. since the tv is coming on an just showing lines this is often the problem 9 out of 10 times.
