Just posting to state my thorough dissatisfaction with the new iteration of Dex and the inability to rollback to classic. It is what really set the Tab S line apart from competitors for me, as I don't use the stylus. These sorts of steps backwards can sometimes make sense but while the current iteration of dex/desktop mode is a bit faster, it lacks so much.

A compelling feature being "killed off" and replaced by an improving yet largely bare bones Google iteration - not a signal of a direction that I am excited about at all.

For me I never used DeX and the new ways DeX integrates with my S9+ it destroys the Lawnchair launcher I use as if I accidentally opens a desktop through the tab on the top center of each app OneUI adds its launcher icons on top of it. Allowing the user to opt out of functionality that is not used would be a kind way to apply new updates that will impact the user experience that severely.

I sincerely regret installing the latest update.
