I'm buying 1 of the Samsung premium tablet, S9+ to be exact. With a promise of 4 years of Android version update and 5 years of security update.

But until now since the first I buy it, I only get 1 update and the Android security patch version even still on the 1 August 2023.

Even my flagship killer chinese branded smartphone get regular update more frequently than the Samsung "premium" device, I think I pay too much for Samsung product 😂

Hoping once the One UI 6 update comes on the tablet, it is on the January security update and not in November. 😤

You should try the Google Pixel device, they offer faster and better OS support compared to Samsung. The current Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will now be supported for 7 years for major Android Updates.

You can find some sellers on Shopee or Lazada but you can also order it via Amazon.com (they offer free shipping from the US to the Philippines) or on Google Store.

I actually want to try Pixel but I don't like Exynos also Pixel not officially available at my country, will need to pay additional tax

I'm waiting for OneUI 6 update every day, every day I run the software update check since end of November until today still didn't get the update LoL

Yep, that is true. However, on Shopee, they are almost the same price (almost) as in the US once. But then again that's just my opinion, Pixel for me is just the better Android due to faster OS updates and now longer than Apple OS support (by one year).

In my opinion, it's not worth it to import Pixel devices to the Philippines.

Almost 70% of the features won't work, as most of it is region locked through location and your SIM/eSIM. The most jarring example of this is 5G.

Samsung update August 1 , 2024 One UI version: 6.1 makes my A73 5G phone slower, keeps on freezing screen , hard to connect to 2.4ghz wifi frequency. Anyone with same problem? @samsung when are you going to fix the bugs? It's very inconvenient for us .
