Samsung Experience Singapore

First off, I'd like to personally thank Samsung Philippines for inviting me and my fellow Members Stars Mark Luceño to attend the unveiling of the newest S line up at Singapore. It's truly an honor to meet everyone, especially other Members Stars from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.

For two whole days, I've gotten to play with the Samsung S23 Ultra and I must say that this phone is a beast! I'm currently using a Note20U5G (back-up candy bar phone) and a Fold4 (daily driver) but the S23 Ultra blew away all my pre-conceived notions!

I personally like the Cream more, but Lavender is a nice color and it shifts depending on the lighting. Pretty cool!

To be honest that's already a pretty good unit. I think it's generally an acceptable truth that upgrading after 2 to 3 years is probably the most appropriate in terms of maximizing the "upgrades" - but I'll leave your question to be answered by my fellow Members Stars Mark who's current daily driver is an S22U. At the end of the day, if you have the money to spend, I would say go for it.

Hi Hward! I'm also using an S22 Ultra and have tested the S23 Ultra for a few days and here's my take.

One, I saw your posts here and saw that you're also into photography. If you want a 15% increase in camera quality and performance then yes I would recommend the S23 Ultra. It's because of the optimized processor combined with the 12GB RAM and the little tweaks from the camera modules. Not sure if you notice the sometimes half a second lag from focusing and shutter from the s22u. But if you do then that issue is greatly minimized in the s23u. The focus and edge detection is also smoother. And it has the 200MP Camera. And the additional 4GB of RAM upgrade (assuming you have the 8GB) would make your editing faster.

When using it I could definitely feel the difference. If that makes sense.

If those upgrades are worth it for you and you have the funds then go for it. But don't expect too much since the S22 Ultra is already a great phone to begin with. Think of the S23 Ultra as the polished version of the S22 Ultra. If you want want to take pictures then the S22 Ultra can give you almost everything the S23U can do. BUT if you want the BEST of the best. Then you found it in the S23 Ultra.

P.S. I'm also considering upgrading so we're on the same boat. I'm just strapped for cash LOL
