I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus running on Android 14, Ui 6.1.1, with the latest October 1 update installed.
In the past few days, System UI app crashes a few times a day when I do the "back" gesture on either side of the screen. I have the Developer option enabled in Settings and a dialog prompts me to close or restart the System UI app, then it goes to the lock screen and I have to login to be able to continue using my phone. Rebooting the phone doesn't help. Does anyone have this same issue? Can I get some help, please ? Thank you in advance 😊🙏

System UI crashing, or stopping, can be the result of something incompatible, whether it is Settings or an app.

You can try a things:

Toggle Off Developer Options and check?

Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.. See if that fixes the issue for you?

Boot into Safe Mode to see if it is a 3rd party app causing the issue.

Last resort, before visiting a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech would be, Backup with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.

It's almost certainly your fault.

Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset..

Don't restore your Settings or apps until you have tested to make sure that your Reboot issues are resolved.

Samsung devices are not known to have any problems with Random Reboots.. so it's your Settings or some 3rd party apps.

You can also try Booting into Safe Mode, if you don't want to Factory Reset initially.
