Most likely to be the screen protector you are using.. Never heard of that brand.. But unless it uses edge to edge adhesive, it probably leaves a gap between the screen & screen protector.

I've always used Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass screen protectors, which do use an edge to edge liquid adhesive.. never had any issues with the Finger Print Sensor.

Hi JB17,

Screen protectors can sometimes affect the performance of the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner depending on their thickness and material. To determine whether the protector is contributing to the issue, we recommend temporarily removing it and testing the fingerprint sensor directly on the display. If the sensor works properly without the protector, this would confirm that the accessory is interfering.

For the best results, we suggest using a screen protector that is specifically designed and certified for Samsung Galaxy devices, as these are tested to ensure compatibility with the fingerprint scanner.

We appreciate your patience and the effort you’ve already put into troubleshooting. If the issue continues even without a protector, kindly let us know so we can continue to support you further.

It’s great to hear that you’ve found the liquid glue and UV light installation method effective, especially for maintaining reliable fingerprint recognition.
