💡 How to enable 24 MP mode on Galaxy S26 Ultra?

If you have purchased a new Galaxy S26 Ultra, you might have seen by default the camera has 12 MP, 50 MP and 200 MP modes.

But there is a way to enable 24 MP mode as well. Which is very easy.

You simply have to go to Galaxy Store and download Camera assistant. Then simply go into the Camera Assistant application and enable 24 MP resolution setting. Now you can enable 24 MP setting in your default Camera application.

Camera assistant also allows additional features like Night mode, Single take and dual recording to also be enabled.

Is this an App by Samsung or 3rd party developer?? I'd love to add this in my s26 ultra too if its genuine samsung app as I trying to lean away from 3rd party apps on my phone. Will this affect battery life too?

Camera Assistant is indeed an official Samsung application, available through the Galaxy Store as part of the Good Lock suite. It is designed to enhance and customize the behavior of the native Samsung Camera app, giving you more control over features such as resolution options, auto lens switching, and shooting speed.

Another option is to use Expert RAW, this is another official Samsung application which in the attached image, you can see the camera option for 24MP.
