Hi again. I have been using Samsung mail for a while because Gmail was making it tricky to send an email that wasn't really basic. All has been fine until today. I have the email sync schedule set to automatic but I was waiting for a verification code that was supposedly emailed to me but it only showed up in Gmail, not Samsung mail. I then noticed the mail I deleted in Samsung's app doesn't get deleted in Gmail. Anyone have these problems?

I work make the decision on which email app you want to use. I certainly would not have two different email apps that are both synced.

Use one or the other, definitely not both.

I use Samsung mail. The rich text formatting is useful. I find it easier to add multiple attachments to Samsung mail. My email is @gmail.com so I still need Gmail.

To set up a Gmail account in the Samsung Email app, open the app, go to Menu > Settings > Add account, and select Gmail. Sign in with your Google credentials to automatically sync emails, or select "Other" to configure IMAP settings manually.
