When my phone is charging or sleeping , I used to get a Pop up when a New Email or Text come thru. It doesn't work anymore

Anyone have an idea who to fix this

Did you turn on Do Not Disturb, or Toggle Off some of the Notifications?

Deep Sleeping apps won't give you Notifications, neither will apps where you have Restricted Battery Usage.

No I didn't turn on Do Not Disturb , Not in Deep sleep. Battery is in unscripted. I'm getting my Emails and Texts , just not getting the Pop up. The Pop up is working on my Calenders reminder

Try this:

Go to Settings > Notifications > All Apps & Scroll down to find your Email app & Text Messaging App > Click on each of them to make sure that you have allowed them to show as Pop Up Notifications, as per the screen shot.

Got it fixed. O had the Pop turned on , went into the Notification Categories and click on Pop up
