how to turn off wake up so I can use voice function for the camera.

Hi Jacksams, what do you mean by turn off wake up?

If you've setup Bixby, you can use voice for the camera.

Hi Jacksams, I guess this is what you mean. Turn off Bixby voice wake up and use the voice function for the camera. To do this:

- 1 click on Bixby button
- Click 3 dots on right hand top
- Click Settings
- Click Voice wake up
- Turn off "Wake with Hi Bixby"

Then,
- Open Camera
- Click Gear icon (Settings)
- Click Shooting methods

Turn on Voice Control.

That should do it.

***Note that If you use Camera voice control, you cannot use Bixby voice. If you want to use Bixby, you cannot use Camera voice control.

I was wondering the same thing the other day but I was wondering why it wasn't working. but yeah so it does turn out that having Bixby Voice Wake Up activated overrides the camera voice activation. but I guess you can kind of take the picture with voice activation but it has to be done with Bixby 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Yeah, either use camera voice control or Bixby. Pick one...😉
