I see many user complaints because of bugs from updates. What I normally do before each updates is to read the review from other users first in blogs or forums before installing updates right away. I learned from iOS, since apple had many bugs on each version.

Hope this can help users avoid bugs / unwanted problems in the future. Cheers!

I will tell ya, before many A50 users complain so much bug about A50, A50 has already weak signal in the first place, so many A50 users hoping next patch will fix that, but the upcoming patch only giving them more bug, u can say so because u are not encounter the current bugs either i do since i am A7 2018 owner (factory reset won't fix the bug), but how funny Samsung giving bad experience and the only actual fix IMO by buying A50s or other model, i suspected the culprit is exynos 9610 that's why Samsung created Exynos 9611 for A50s and M30s, it's hardware bug i think, if software bug 1 security patch is enough to fix all the problems.

I had a hardware issue with my S8 where it won't update to Android 9 a few years ago, so I do feel your pain. Regardless I've been using A7 2017, A7 2018 which is my secondary daily driver, S8, Note 9, and now Note 10+ as my main daily driver. So if you feel like having a bad experience with Samsung, well there are many other brands out there for you. I left apple since iPhone 6s I see no significant performance difference to iPhone 11 Pro Max only difference is on its battery & camera. So far Samsung's given me what I've been wanting and need on a cellphone.

We are talking about A50 dude not other model including A7 2018, yeah i know other models will have their issues but not as many as A50 issues had right now. Maybe u need to feel the actual problem by buying A50 (although i don't recommend it just stay away from it ). Well at least lucky us not become an A50 owner.

But I appreciate u, u were an honest iPhone user, most iPhone users will defend iPhone no matter expensive they are. Someday i wanna buy an iPhone too want to feel both world from Android and iOS. iPhone 6s is a great choice!

What i hope A50 become stable, until now there's no sign of MazzAnto as community manager about A50 issue. Last i hope u keep getting what u need, sometimes getting disappointed and get away from a brand to see how well other brands is a good thing. Huawei or OnePlus is good choice IMO.

I hear you bro, if Samsung can get that screen to 120hz I will def. trade in my Note 10+ the next Note Series when it comes out. I was also thinking to replace my A7 2018 to A50s; any thoughts? If performance subpar then it'll just be an upgrade to type c with fast charging. Most def. staying away from Apple products unless they came up with something more interesting. Huawei and OnePlus are good too!

120hz might comes to S11 or Note 11, a great upgrade.

For 2nd question, Better wait until Samsung 2020 A series come, A50s vs A7 2018 nothing much different, only additional 4k 30 fps (which your Note 10+ do much much better) along Type-c and mainstream 15W fast charging. A7 2018 still worth it even for next 2 - 3 years, A series will not have much difference and since u are using A7 2018 as backup phone, u don't need "so powerful backup phone", i am prefer buying m30s as backup phone since it has monsters battery although missing NFC.
