Coming from an African Indian background, we did not always celebrate Christmas, but we do enjoy spending lots of time with the family over the holidays. Family is really important, and one thing that always brings family together is.....food lol.
One of my favorite dishes my mom always prepares for us during the holidays is a traditional Indian breakfast made of eggs, and bananas. Made with brown sugar and butter, it is almost like having dessert for breakfast. It does not take very long to make, but when you have to make a large quntity to feed everyone, it can definitely take some time. If I am lucky, some days she will also make home made waffles so I can put the eggs/bananas on top, it is a very delicious treat. I will definitely attach a picture this year when she makes it ❤️
