A50 Battery life after update

after the most recent update for the galaxy a50 my battery life has diminished.

I was getting over 8 hrs of SOT before it and now I'm getting 4-5 hrs

Hi Aldel, it is always recommend that get into Recovery mode, wipe cache partition, then reboot the phone after finished major updates.

It is not uncommon for you to be experiencing a little bit of a loss in battery life after an update. As @Tallman says, make sure you start with a clean slate to try to help with that(thank you @Tallman)

After the wipe it also Wouldn't hurt to go into settings/device care and optimize some stuff and if goodlock/Tasker works for you then you can check that to see if you have any battery drinkers, some partying apps love the juice 🤷♂️
