Find my device

On my Galaxy A50 "find my device" keeps reactivating after I have deactivated that function.

Why?

This has occurred again. I have disabled find my device and it was reactivated. why ?

don't know but why would you want to deactivate find my device?

I would activate it under certain conditions.

There is a contact field that allow your contact information to be displayed even when locked. My phone is secured with encryption if stolen so my info is protected.

But to the point any change on the phone should remain. This is a new phone running Pie so I see no reason for a parameter to change.

This has occurred again. When I disable and reactivate it gives me a prompt "Activate" or "cancel".

yes no harm to have it on, also i think every so often it pings device location to your Google account for "last location" which is likely activating it again . i think the Samsung version works the same way.

it has been doing that to a lot of devices- including mine recently.
Searching google is pointless as its all what google wants you to see.
Annoying, and not wanted.
