The Bluetooth for media is not working in my car. 2010 Ford. Galaxy A8 six months old fully updated to Android 9.0 recently. Phone connectivity is still working but on my "Bluetooth audio" setting in the car it won't play from my music player (Rocket Player).
I have unpaired it several times, cleared the cache and data for Bluetooth on the A8 device. I have checked the Bluetooth settings on the phone, media audio has a checkmark next to it as it should.
I see this problem all over the American message board. No solution there either.
Solved. Went to Ford Sync website, uploaded new update to a USB drive, put it in car USB slot while car running. 15 minutes it installed new software. Audio media worked, even better it displayed song titles which it never did before.
