Can someone tell me the difference between my Samsungs A70's camera settings..3:4 vs 3:4 HD (and the other setting).

did you play around with it? i'm no camera expert but on my S9+ it appears to change maybe the aspect ratio and also changes how much of the camera you can see when using the camera app. as for the HD it could mean the H.D.R mode is on for your device.

The aspect ratio is the same (3:4) and HDR is definitely not an aspect ratio setting. It would be impractical, illogical...

Pixel binning? One of these options will give you 8MP shots and the other 32MP pics.

Allow me to explain a bit further.

Image quality depends on so much more than the MP count. Pixel size matters too. The Pixel binning mode should give you higher quality pictures in all situations, while no binning will give you more details when in great lighting conditions. This is a bit oversimplified but you get it

You should always use 3:4 8mp mode.btw, the GD1 camera on A70 is worse then the GM1 camera on A50.
