What are some tips on speeding up phone? I have the samsung galaxy a5 2017.

Uninstall unused apps - Put others to "sleep" - Clear Cache from Recovery 🐧

you could decrease the animations by going into settings, then go into advanced features and turn on reduce animations

turning on auto restart will also help your phone run smooth.

@CHMultimedia - I'm not familiar with that device - But presumably it still has the options in Developer Options?

if you go to developer options in your settings, you can completely disable animations. This helped me tons with speed. Hope it helps!
