a70 won't connect to car via USB

New owner of an a70 and overall I'm impressed with the device.

I notice however that I can't connect to my vehicle (brand new by the way) via USB. Connected instantly and worked perfectly fine on my previous iPhone 8. The phone will charge, but wont connect.

Bluetooth works fine, but would like to connect via USB.

Am I missing something here?

Please try to restart your device and your car system. Make sure that your device is unlocked and on the Home screen. If possible, you can try to connect using another cable.
