I purchased my a50 from the Bramalea mall from Freedom mobile in Brampton. Is this store considered valid by Samsung for selling non counterfeit phones?
chmultimedia The same way Samsung messed up updates is the same way sending out a notification that there are contifeits. You are now providing Samsung validated information on how to determine a counterfeit instead of Samsung?
Normally, carrier/retailer stores are working in partnership with Samsung. They are recognized as authorized sellers. It should be fine! If anyone has any concerns - they can ask in the community if they're not sure and we can respond.
My concern is the reckless way the notification was announced. If there is a counterfeit state what to look for or provide a method of identifying the counterfeit.
