Dude - You don't understand - The Samsung Notice is WRONG - It's not entirely your fault - The Samsung Notice lumps Security Patch updates together with OS Update - The A5 is DEFINITELY not getting One UI...

Samsung only provides 2 Android version updates to any of their devices - A5 2017 was shipped with Marshmallow... let's do the "math" Marshmallow + Nougat + Oreo = That's it! 🐧

The Samsung Notice - is from the same group who said that the S9+ was "definitely getting One UI beta"... After the One UI beta was OVER..... Sad but true.

The S9+ Never received the One UI beta..... in Canada...

Read what I just wrote - Samsung Notice lumps Security Patch updates together with OS Updates - This means that the A5 2017 will get a Security Patch OTA in September... that's all.

@Moderator - Please clean up the Samsung Notice - There's been numerous occasions where members have misunderstood the Notice - It needs to be very clear - What devices are eligible for an Android version update & which devices are only eligible to receive Security Patch updates...!
