~Winter Bokeh~
I passed by the Richmond City Hall on a car ride in rainy Vancouver back in December and saw this lovely outdoor Christmas light decoration that emitted a soft warm glow. I quickly took out my S7 Edge and decided to capture this image through the car window during a brief stop for the red light. (I was a passenger only by the way.) The picture turned out great with dots of light blurred on the peripheral while the main light decoration remained sharp in focus. The blurred lights almost resembled snow drops. I was happy to achieve this Bokeh effect with the raindrops on my window. Bokeh in photography terms is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out of focus parts of an image produced by a lens. It highlights the main focus in the picture. The word Bokeh comes from Japanese language and it means "blur".
