I used to have custom text notification sounds for different people in my Note S8 so I would know who was texting me before I looked at my phone. Since the update I can't choose specific sounds for different contacts except for their ringtone. I have bad hearing so that custom feature was important to me. Is there a way I can fix/change that?
At the moment there is no other way unless you download a 3rd party messaging application. My personal preference is Android Messages, its stock androids messaging platform and it works really well and has some good customizations. From there you just select your contact and head to the settings for that contact 😊
