Galaxy NoteWe know that Samsung Flagships have 2 different processor used:
- Snapdragon for US, China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau), Japan, South Korea
- Exynos for most countries, including the Philippines
Now, there's another difference: the thermal pad:
- The teardown video from Zack's (Jerry Rig Everything) South Korean model (photo below) and iFixit's US model shows that it uses both graphite pad. Both models are equipped with Snapdragon 865+. The US model has 5G millimeter wave antenna, while the South Korean model hasn't. Take note that Zack mistakenly mentioned that it uses Exynos for the "international" model that he used.
- The teardown from iCase's Cambodian model (photo below) shows that it uses copper pad. This model is equipped with Exynos 990, a same chipset used for the S20 series. There's also a similar teardown for the New Zealand 5G and Vietnamese LTE model, also both equipped with Exynos and copper chamber.
What does this mean that having a same name, but different components by each country?
