I just hope that One UI 2.1 will bring us a speedy performance boost because I am seeing a lot of lag, especially in the camera app.

it's good to do a factory reset every 4 or 5 months. it will help speed up your phone again.

I'm used to doing Factory Resets several times a DAY when testing Custom Roms on other devices - But I probably perform a Factory Reset a couple of times a year on other devices (Locked Bootloaders) - It doesn't hurt anything & it DEFINITELY CAN improve the performance of your device... Android isn't perfect & it's not a bad way to pass the time when the weather is miserable.
