Can you blow your speakers?

As per the question, can you blow your phones speakers by playing audio too loud? Or even the AKG headphones? Recently I found them to be really static and distorted

you can blow your eardrums too
Keep it at a reasonable level,
it should notify you when you are about to go over the reasonable level👍
I don't go over the level with earphones but in my vehicle it seems low until I do turn it up 🤷‍♂️
