You are NOT understanding! The Samsung Notice NEEDS to be CLARIFIED - It is NOT providing accurate information about OS and Security Patch Updates!
The S7 series has already had the 2 Android version updates that it will receive from Samsung!

If you REALLY want Pie - Root your S7 device & Flash a Custom Rom running Android 9 Pie!
