Hi everyone, I love using the swipe keyboard and over time I delete allot of words that I'll just never use from the auto correct dictionary. However every single time there's a Samsung device update, it refreshes my dictionary and puts back all the words I removed. It's really annoying not being able to just keep the words I want to keep. Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks for the response, loveSam

Hi Chiya,

Please follow the below path.

Settings > General management > Language and input > On-screen keyboard > Samsung Keyboard > Reset to default settings > Erase personalised predictions > Erase

Hi keagan, I think Chiya means he removed some words from dictionary. But everytime he got an update from Samsung, his keyboard dictionary reset to default, not the original dictionary he was using.

Maybe is there any dictionary export function or save the dictionary before update will answer his question.

Ty Tallman! That's exactly what I mean. I am trying to keep my dictionary from going back to default whenever Samsung updates my phone.
