Yes, you can selectively choose to unblock your number. My number is private so for the contacts that I want my number to show up for, this is what you need to do. *31# and then punch in their phone number (eg. *31#5145555555). I've programmed that combination into the profile of each contact that I want my number to appear in when I'm calling. Hope that helps!
