A while back there used to be feature to lock the Navigation bar as well as Show and Hide it.

There used to be a little dot right next to the three vertical lines on the Navigation bar to lock it.

What happened to it and is there a way to get it back? Why was it removed?

Maybe try
Goodlock/Navstar
🤷
And if you want it hidden why not use full screen gestures 🤦
That's valuable eye space candy 🙃

Agree , once you get used to the new full screen gestures, hard to go back.

I don't want it hidden, I wanted it to stay up since I don't care about that space.
I thought it would've helped me with my full screen problem but it doesn't.

Even if I wanted it to be hidden, gestures is not for me.

Never even heard of GoodLock until now. Thanks for that solution.

As @mytech mentioned, you need to download Good Lock then Navstar and you will have the options to customize your navbar to your liking including the show/hide button. Make sure your phone isn’t set to full gestures otherwise you won't be able to set navstar to on.

Hey @Dokoz,
The hide/show icon that allowed you to hide or show the Navigation bar is only available on Oreo phones. The icon was removed on the Pie OS with the Navigation bar redesign.
Thanks, @mytech and @GG2 for providing the information.
