Suspected app: Samsung My files

Phone: Samsung S7

Problem:

Everytime I unlock the phone, I get taken to my browser straight at first with an ad link being accessed. I'd have to exit myself. 

And every now and then when I'm using the phone, an ad covers the screen or slides up from the bottom. Google AdSense ads.

How can I uninstall Samsung My files app? Or is anything else the problem?

Mind you, before I came to naming Samsung My files app as the suspect, I had done some probing of apps installed.

try changing the home page in configuration for www.google.com

That kind of issues mostly are caused by trash apps, I recomend you to look for suspicious apps, other than My Files.
In the other hand, My Files app cannot be uninstalled.
