There is only one simple tip if you are experiencing any kind of unusual problem (battery drain, random restart, lag, connection issue, etc) after updating you're S7/S7edge to Nougat:
Back up everything, then factory reset you're phone.
Please try this before losing your time with any other "solution" 🙂

First try clearing cache partition in recovery. If it doesn't work then reset.

It is a good thing to Factory reset the phone every once in 6 months or so.
I reset my S7e after one year and I really feel like it became more responsive.
My GPS became more accurate after the reset. I think restarting also recalibrates your sensors, but don't quote me on that.
