S10+ 2x optical Zoom lens not working/triggered

Since the update relased earlier today April 16 for the S10+, the Optical Zoom lens does not activate in camera app, has anybody noticed that? I covered the lens with my finger and toggled to 2x and still did not appear as blocked,  only main lens zoomed... any input appriciated!

The software won't enable the zoom lens if the light conditions are not good. If you say that happens in broad daylight, that's abnormal

Thank you! Just tested outside and indeed it switched to the main lens when I blocked it. Much appreciated!

No, I didn't notice any errors with the new update at all.

My bad I was not aware of the sofware switching to the main lens when not in broad daylight, happened to notice that just after I updated
