all Canadian carriers release it on the same day. and bell said on their twitter that they would release it on April 1st

Sometimes the schedule has to be changed because of problems that arise while testing.

April first is 1 day after March. I think you will be able to wait one day.

how much free space should I have on my s8plus to be able to update to one ui?

The One UI update zip file is ~ 1.7 Gig - Hard to believe that you wouldn't have enough space to update...🐧

trust me I don't, since I bought s8 plus I barely open my PC...
I have to back up some data... I believe the update requires, at least, 8gb free space.
