There is one thing I don't like about the Oreo update. I don't like how when I clear my notifications panel, which I like to keep clean, the app icon badge disappears. I don't necessarily want to check my email whenever I get a notification from the app but when I clear my notifications panel I don't have a reminder to check my emails when I have time to. There should be a setting to be able to clear my panel but not clear the app icon badge. Like it used to be on previous Android versions. Thanks
It's a base rule set by Google for Oreo, Samsung must do it if they want their phone to run on Android Oreo. You have to request to Google, lot of people want that feature too.
