Samsung Galaxy S9 "Canadian Variant" to Receive One UI 2.1?

I have heard mixed feedback about the S9 receiving One UI 2.1, and most say that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will NOT receive One UI 2.1, but some say it will. I know myself Samsung released a statement saying that their 2018 smartphones will NOT be recieving their One UI 2.1 update, but I would like to check just to be sure.
