I received photos and videos from a WhatsApp contact and I need to save them on my Samsung Galaxy S9 Gallery. How to proceed with that? Can I have tips please? Thanks.

That's strange. By default, it create Whatsapp folder automatically.

Ok, do the following lastly.
Settings→ Apps→ Whatsapp→ Storage

Clear data and clear cache
Restart your phone, ask someone send a photo to you. See if Gallery→ Album has Whatsapp Image

Note: clear data means cache data, not your whatsapp data. But some personalise setting may remove.

Also, the Whatsapp folders are under internal phone.

If you open My Files, browse
internal storage/ Whatsapp/ Media, you will see all the folders there. 1 of the folder is Whatsapp Images. If you have it, your Gallery Album should have it.

So, do you have the Whatsapp Images folder?
