Just got the security patch update for the S8. I'm with Bell. Not sure what else is new other than the scene optimizer. **bleep** there's no night mode for the camera like on the S10 series lol
Move the date in your phone ahead by like a month then check for an update, that's what worked for me. (Afterwards just set it back to automatic time/date).
I own the S8 as well. I am with Koodo. Received, downloaded and installed the security patch update this morning. After the installation all my apps and important files stayed as is. No deletions or malfunctions.
