Spotify keeps pausing!!

I had it removed from battery saving before update. It's still not there. But it pauses on lock screen

Did you experience the pausing after the update, or before? Maybe the update changed something?

Started after the update :( - I thought the update changed battery settings for Spotify, but it hasn't

I am going insane with this problem. I've tried everything including factory reset to no avail. Feedback has suggested it's a Samsung issue, that evidently doesn't occur if you manually lock the screen - a screen timeout is said to be the culprit. Cannot confirm or deny that claim. Either way it's darn frustrating
