So each time I ear of updates there's people talking about X carrier rolling it out at Y date. However what if the phone is unlocked? I bought my phone from Costco and each time I get an update, I get it very late or not at all. Do unlocked phone purchased from the store get updates? How does it work? Do I get the update from Samsung? When will I receive the security update? Thanks.
Unlocked models ALWAYS get the update last after all other carriers have released theirs. You can check what your CSC (try downloading "phone info Samsung") is and that will let you know who you're getting your updates from.
