Finely receiver the android 8.0 software update for my Samsung Galaxy S7 and installed it overnight. looks and feels much faster and sleeker. the task manager seems like a downgrade to me as it just shows bars now but otherwise the changes seem like upgrades so far. for example the swiping up or down in the home screen to access the app drawer. that's a nice addition but it seems to make the app drawer icon redundant.
anybody else have any opinions to share or features that they have discovered after using the new U.I for a longer period of time?

Hey @cocojunkie, thank you for sharing review on new OS update! Apps button can be hidden from Apps menu > tap of three dots > Home screen settings > Apps button. Hopefully this helps!

In the contacts you can NO LONGER set up an individual notification ring.
I used this all the time. Very very disappointed that they would take this away

thanks for the suggestions I didnt know you could hide the app drawer.
