can't display pictures taken by phone.

Try to reset your settings for camera , for this you have to open camera click the top right Gear icon and scroll down to "Reset settings". Hope this will fix.

you might have a fake or croupt SD card. Are you saving the pics to the internal storage or to your micro sd card?

Hey @zdonia, can you please try clearing the cache of both your Camera and Gallery apps? If that doesn't help, then please back up your data and perform a factory reset. If you were able to display pictures taken by your camera in the past then this should restore the phone back to those original settings.
