how to restore pics

I installed one ui, then backed up my entire phone and did a factory reset. Some pictures back, some didnt. How do I restore pictures taken in the past 2 week?

Where did you back up your pictures?

Google back up and Samsung back up

Go to Samsung Cloud -> Gallery -> Sync when I factory reset mine Samsung cloud didnt turn sync on for gallery

I don't think google nor Samsung back up pictures as part of their backups as they take too much space in the cloud. You have to do it manually. The factory reset you did deleted them.

If you had Google Photos (I hope you did) hopefully they would be backed up there

thanks everyone I found the missing pictures. Got them back because they were all shared by text and Facebook.
