I forgot my password with 9 points on my galaxy a50 and I only got my finger print to enter it

Hi christophe989,
You are lucky that you still able to access your phone. My suggestion is using Samsung Smartswitch to backup your whole phone. Then, do a factory reset. Restore data after start from scratch. As I don't know how to break the password. Good luck!
* Note: When using Smartswitch, go to preference, choose what you need to backup, for safe side, backup your SD card as well.

As @Tallman stated, there's no way to recover forgotten pattern/PIN/password. Even if switching to other methods, you will be required to enter the previous credentials used. If for whatever reason you find yourself completely locked out, use Find My Device to unlock, backup all important data, factory reset and start from scratch. This time, do your best not to forget. Otherwise, you'll have to repeat the process again.
