check the Trash folder.. go to gallery, there is a three vertical dots on the upper right corner of the screen, tap on that, then you can see the trash folder, check if the photos are still there
Depends on a few things... 1st do you back them up on the cloud? 2nd do you save them on your sd card? 3rd try the trashcan. If none of these work or are implace then unfortunately you have lost them which if this is the case a hard lessened learned.
